Gerriets has been a trusted partner to professionals throughout the dance and entertainment industries for over 75 years, originally serving the market as a theatre curtain manufacturer. Since then, we have grown into an international company, providing theatrical equipment and products all over the world. Our product lines now span across four categories: curtains, projection screens, technical solutions, and flooring.

Our flooring line began in 1975 with a portable, roll-out, reversible dance floor designed to provide theatres with a smooth, even surface. Over time, our focus expanded to meet the specific needs of the dance industry. Today, our collection features versatile options for dance studios and professional companies. VARIO BEAT offers a marley surface with just the right feel for dancers, with a hardened surface great for tap dancers. VARIO MOVE has a softer surface and extra grip, making it ideal for ballet and pointe work. VARIO PRO is a portable, all-purpose floor for all styles of dance, perfect for recitals, competitions, and professional touring companies. With many more options available, we can find an option that best fits your space.

On top of our classic marley dance floors, we have expanded our range of products to include high-gloss, cushioned, metallic, transparent, and custom-printed floors. Our range of vinyl floors can be found in a wide array of dance studios, as well as theater and stage productions, exhibition and trade shows, display and retail, television and film production, special events, and fashion shows.

We have used our decades of experience in the industry to develop a modular and easy-to-install sprung floors known as our VARIO ERGODANCE Sprung Floor Systems. With the addition of sprung floors, we put the health and well-being of the dancers first.

In addition to our flooring, we also offer a wide range of accessories to make the installation, upkeep, and storage of our dance floors easy. This includes specially designed floor cleaners, high-quality tapes, flooring carts, and bags for storage and transportation.

While expanding our line of dance floors, we never forgot our roots and continued to innovate with our fabrics, projection screens, and technical equipment.
